What will you visit?

Slovenia

The tiny country that sits in the heart of Europe is characterised by its blue lakes, endless mountains and charming towns. Its capital city Ljubljana is one one of the greenest cities in Europe, while the striking Julian Alps dazzles with its peak Mt Triglav and lovely Lake Bohinj which is just as charming as Bled.

From outstanding lake views to picturesque waterfalls, Slovenia has plenty to entertain lovers of nature.

Combining the tranquility of Lake Bled with fantastic excursions, including a day at Postojna Cave and a visit to Portorož, where you can relax in the seaside town and enjoy a dip in the Adriatic Sea, it's set to be a holiday to remember.

Slovenian coast | Portoroz, Piran, Koper, Izola

Being just 46,6 kilometers long, Slovenian coastline is one of the shortest in the world. There are only two countries in Europe that have shorter cost (Bosnia & Herzegovina and Monaco). But despite this fact, Slovenian coastline is regarded as one of the most diverse corners of the country: from historic Venetian towns to picturesque salt pans; and from chic tourist resorts to gorgeous natural reserves.

Piran

Piran is, without a doubt, the most popular town on the Slovenian cost. Its historic center is among the best-preserve in the whole of Adriatic. This small town sitting on the tip of the long peninsula has been populated since the Roman times, but it was the Venetians who gave him the look and charms it still has today. Beside the many villas from that era, you will also fall in love with the amazing views from its ancient walls.

Koper

Called Capodistria in Italian (literally meaning "boss of Istria"), Koper is the most important town of the region. Despite having a large port, Koper is full of gorgeous historic buildings. Most of them are concentrated around its main square named after Yugoslav leader Tito. There you can climb up the 36-meter high City Tower and admire the nearby cathedral, the Loggia Palace and the Praetor Palace.

Ljubljana | Capitol city of Slovenja

Walking tour along the banks of the lovely Ljubljanica River and cross its numerus bridges, including the Triple Bridge by Ljubljana's most famous architect Jože Plečnik and the elegant Dragon Bridge, which has become a symbol of the city. Among the many notable buildings, you will pass on your stroll through the historic center of Ljubljana, are the city's University on the vivid Congress Square, Nacional Library (built exclusively from the local materials), the baroque Cathedral of St. Nicholas and the pinkish Franciscan Church of the Annunciation located on Ljubljana's central square named after the nation's greatest poet, France Prešeren. To summit all up, you can climb up the city's most strategic point – the Ljubljana Castle sitting on a hill above the old historic center – and enjoy the wonderful views of Ljubljana and high Alps in the background.

Bled

Is an image of paradise. This tourist gem of global dimensions on the edge of the Triglav National Park was nominated one of the seven new wonders of the world. It is distinguished by a mild, healing climate and thermal springs of lake water.

Postojna cave

Is the best-known cave in the world. It is also the greatest tourist attraction in Slovenia and one of the world's largest karst monuments. It is also the only cave in the world that features a train which will take you deep into this magnificent underground network of interconnecting caves full of stalagmites and stalactites. It's immense, magnificent, and like nothing you ever saw before.
